Ontwikkelaars builds software that organizations rely on. Our clients are serious businesses looking for a trusted technology partner, not a cheap hourly rate. We're looking for an AE who can tell that story convincingly and close deals with decision-makers who have high expectations.
The role
As an Account Executive, you own the entire sales cycle: from first contact to signed contract. You work with inbound leads and build your own pipeline through outreach and your network. You understand the needs of both technical and business decision-makers and can clearly articulate the value of custom software.
What you'll do
- Manage the full sales cycle: discovery, demo, proposal, negotiation, and close
- Qualify inbound leads and proactively build your own pipeline
- Collaborate with the technical team to draft realistic proposals and project scopes
- Track deals, activities, and progress in a CRM
- Signal market trends and client needs relevant to our offering
What you bring
- At least 2 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in tech, software, or a digital agency
- A proven track record of closing deals with an average value of €25k+
- Strong communication skills in English (Dutch is a strong advantage)
- Comfortable with longer sales cycles and multiple stakeholders on the client side
- Bonus: experience with custom software, IT services, or SaaS
What we offer
- Salary: €3,000–€4,500 per month base, plus commission on closed deals
- Uncapped commission model — you earn in proportion to the value you bring in
- Hardware budget: €1,500 at start
- 25 vacation days
- Fully remote, with freedom to manage your own calendar
