Ontwikkelaars is growing, which means we need to take our people processes seriously. We have an office in Amsterdam and a team that works distributed across multiple locations. We're looking for an HR professional who has a strong command of both the legal and human sides of employment — and who enjoys building things.
The role
As HR & People Manager, you're responsible for everything across the employment lifecycle at Ontwikkelaars. From drafting employment contracts and guiding onboarding to developing HR policy and maintaining company culture. You work from our Amsterdam office and serve as the primary point of contact for all people-related matters.
What you'll do
- Draft and manage employment contracts and personnel files in compliance with Dutch law
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes
- Develop HR policies on leave, performance, wellbeing, and hybrid/remote work
- Act as a trusted advisor and first point of contact for team members
- Collaborate with management on team growth, salary development, and retention
What you bring
- At least 3 years of HR experience in the Netherlands
- Thorough knowledge of Dutch labor law, collective agreements, and GDPR
- Experience setting up HR processes in a growing organization
- Strong communicator: you can have sensitive conversations with both empathy and clarity
- Presence in Amsterdam is required for this role
What we offer
- Salary: €3,500–€5,000 per month, depending on experience
- Workplace at our Amsterdam office
- Learning budget: €1,000 per year for HR training and certifications
- Commuting expense reimbursement
- 25 vacation days
