At Ontwikkelaars, we work on multiple complex software products simultaneously. Product management is the glue between client vision and technical execution. We're looking for a PM who's comfortable in both worlds and can manage the tension between scope, quality, and deadline.
The role
As a Product Manager, you own the roadmap of one or more client products. You write clear specs, prioritize the backlog based on impact, coordinate sprints, and serve as the primary point of contact for clients on product and planning matters. You have technical affinity — you don't need to code, but you understand what you're asking for.
What you'll do
- Manage product roadmaps and backlogs for multiple client projects
- Write detailed user stories, specs, and acceptance criteria
- Lead sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives in collaboration with the dev team
- Align with clients on priorities, progress, and scope changes
- Translate user feedback and data into concrete product improvements
What you bring
- At least 3 years of experience as a Product Manager in a software or tech environment
- Demonstrable experience with agile/scrum methodologies
- Technical affinity: you can hold a meaningful conversation with engineers about architecture choices
- Strong communication skills — both written and verbal in English (Dutch is a plus)
- Bonus: experience in an agency or consultancy environment managing multiple clients at once
What we offer
- Salary: €4,500–€6,500 per month, depending on experience
- Hardware budget: €1,500 at start
- Learning budget: €1,000 per year for PM conferences and courses
- 25 vacation days
- Fully remote with regular team sessions
